The Minister of Finance wishes to inform the general public that the services on the Directorate General of Taxation were burgled in the night of Monday breaking Tuesday June 8th 2021.
Initial investigations indicate that offices were broken into in almost all the eleven floors of the main tower of the building housing the head office of the Directorate General of Taxation.
Under the supervision of the State Council investigations have been opened by the specialized services of the Police and the National Gendarmerie and will help to elucidate the motives behind this burglary and identify the authors.
In the meantime the Minister of Finance wishes to reassure the taxpayers that the Directorate General of Taxation will continue to offer it services to them in a seamless manner.

COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE
Le Ministre des Finances porte à la connaissance du public que les services de la Direction Générale des Impôts sis à l'Avenue FOCH ont été l'objet d'un cambriolage dans la nuit du 7 au 8 juin 2021.
Les premières constatations font état de plusieurs bureaux saccagés dans la quasi-totalité des onze étages de la tour principale de l'immeuble abritant la Direction Générale des Impôts.
Les enquêtes d'usage ont été ouvertes par les services de la gendarmerie et de la police sous la supervision de Monsieur le Procureur de la République et permettront de clarifier les circonstances de ce cambriolage et d'en identifier les auteurs.
Dans l'intervalle, le Ministre des Finances tient à rassurer l'ensemble des contribuables que l'administration fiscale continuera à délivrer les services auxquels ils ont droit sans perturbation majeure.
