THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT HEREBY ANNOUNCES THAT:
The Competitive Entrance Examination for the first year of the Cycle of Senior Rural Engineering Technicians (TSGR) for the 2023/2024 Academic Year, will take place on 9th September 2023.
For the School for the Training of Specialists in Rural Equipment and Development (EFSEAR) of KUMBA, the Technical School of Agriculture (ETA) of GAROUA, the International Center for Polytechnic Studies of OBALA (CIEPO) and the YERIMA DEWA Higher Institute (ISYD) of GAROUA;
In the following Centres: CRA of BAMBILI, EBOLOWA and MAROUA; EFSC of EBOLOWA and BAMENDA; EFSDC of GUIDER, KUMBA and SANTA; EFSEAR of KUMBA; ETA of ABONG-MBANG, BAFANG, BAMBILI, DIBOMBARI, EBOLOWA, GAROUA, MAROUA, NKAMBE, SANGMELIMA, CIEPO (OBALA), IAO (OBALA), ISSAEER (SA’A), ISTAO (OMBESSA), ISYD (GAROUA), AGENLA ACADEMY (YAOUNDE), WALYA SUP (YAGOUA), ISMAM (NKONGSAMBA), HFIB (BUEA), ISSTAD (DOUALA), ISSTMADD (NGAOUNDERE), IFPAK (KAELE), Special Centres in DOUALA, NGAOUNDERE and YAOUNDE.
1 – TRAINING COURSES
Training lasts two (02) years and leads to a Diploma of Senior Rural Engineering Technician awarded by MINADER, in the following options:
- Water Management Option (GE);
- Rural Construction Option (CR).

III - GENERAL CONDITIONS TO BE MET IN ORDER TO APPLY
This Competitive Entrance Examination is open in a single session to external candidates. Candidates should be of Cameroonian nationality, holder of the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level in at least two scientific or Technical papers or any other equivalent diploma certified by the competent authorities.
Students who have sat the National Examinations for the 2023 Session and are awaiting their results may apply, and are authorised to compete subject to obtaining their diploma. They must provide proof of registration for the current year's examinations, and must complete their application file as soon as the results are published. Their final admission will depend on whether they have obtained the required diploma.
However, foreign candidates and candidates from companies, Decentralised Local Authorities, Organisms and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) may, subject to the number of places available, be admitted on the basis of an application.
Candidates with foreign diplomas must produce equivalence certificates issued by the competent authorities.
