THE MINISTER DELEGATE AT THE PRESIDENCY IN CHARGE OF DEFENCE HEREBY INFORMS:
Candidates for the special recruitment of 2,000 elite commandos into the Presidential Guard (G.P) and the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR), that the lists of those authorised to take part in the selection examination and the schedule have been published. These lists are posted on the notice boards of the Ministry of Defence and the various Command Posts of the Military Sectors of the candidates’ administrative regions of origin.
The recruitment test will begin on 21 October 2023 in the candidates’ region of origin according to the schedule.
Apart from their identification documents and receipt of submission of file, each candidate must provide :
- a payment receipt of the sum of 5,000 (five thousand) CFAF, representing recruitment fees to be paid at any Express Union branch;
- a sum of 20,000 (twenty thousand) CFAF, representing thorough medical check-up fees (for candidates who have been declared successful at the physical tests).
