RADIO/PRESS RELEASE

The Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education hereby announces to the general public and prospective applicants that the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil through the Cooperation in Education called "PEC-PG" offers free training to Cameroonian students for the academic year 2021/2022.

I- Eligibility:

  • Candidates should be between 18 and 23 years old at most;
  • Candidates should be of Cameroonian nationality or citizen residing in Cameroon;
  • Candidates should be Hold a Baccalaureate or GCE 'A' Level with an honors degree at least;
  • Candidates should not have a permanent or temporary visa from Brazil;
  • Have the means of subsistence during the training period in Brazil (330,000 Frs or 600 USD / month);
  • Candidates should not be of Brazilian nationality.

II- The application file should comprise the following:

  • A handwritten request addressed to the Ambassador of Brazil in Cameroon including the last names, first names, address and telephone number;
  • A duly completed form to be collected from the Brazilian Embassy in Cameroon;
  • A certified photocopies of the birth certificates of the candidate and his parents or guardians;
  • A certified photocopies of the Probatoire, Baccalaureate or GCE O/L and GCE A/L

together with transcripts;

  • A certificate of nationality;
  • The report cards for Form V, Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth (2nde, 1ère and Tle);
  • A certified copies of the national identity cards of the candidate and of the parents;
  • Photocopy of the passport;
  • A recent medical certificate;
  • Two 4x4 photos with signature and address on the back;
  • The pay slips of the guardians or parents or proof of the student’s parental income;
  • An A4 format envelope;
  • A detailed curriculum vitae.

Complete files in 02 copies (certified photocopies) must be submitted to the Brazilian Embassy in Yaounde by September 30th, 2020 at the latest, on presentation of the originals of the documents provided in the file.

NB:

  • For further information, students interested in this training offer are invited to visit the website: http://iaunde.itamaraty.gov.br.
  • Upper sixth students can also apply for this offer subject to the results of the Baccalaureate or the GCE A/L;
  • This is an offer by the Brazilian Government whereby, student’s will study free of charge but the parents will take care of their children’s accommodation and air ticket.
