CIRCULAR LETTER N° 2020/0003 MINESUP/SG/DAG OF 27 MAI 2020

ON INSTRUCTIONS RELATING TO COMPLIANCE WITH PREVENTIVE MEASURES DURING THE ORGANIZATION AND CONDUCT OF THE 2020 SESSION OF NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS

TO - The Proprietors/Proprietress of Private Institutions of Higher Education ; - The Officials of Private Institutions of Higher Education ; - The Heads of Institutions preparing candidates for national examinations ; - The Coordinators of Centres ; - The Chiefs of Centres ; - The Chargés de Mission.

In conformity with the directives of Press Release No. 20 00111/MINESUP/SG/DDES/nes of 29th April 2020 and in view of strictly complying with the preventive measures to fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19), prescribed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government, and considering the need to ensure the conduct of the 2020 session of the (BTS, DSEP, HND and HPD) national examinations in a serene and calm atmosphere, I hereby urge you to strictly respect the measures below in the different phases of the organization and conduct of the said exams within the institutions earmarked to host them.

1- General measures These measures shall apply both during the defence of internship reports and supervised projects as well as the conduct of practical and written examinations : - The for handwashing facility should be systematically available and easily identifiable both at the entrance into the school and in front of amphitheaters, pedagogic blocks, classrooms and toilets ; - The regular washing of hands is compulsory for all students and stakeholders of national examinations (chief of centre, chargé de mission, head of institution, chiefs of sub-centre, chief of secretariat, assistant chief of secretariat, member of secretariat, examiner, facilitator, etc.) ; - The use of thermos-flash is strongly recommended to instantly take the body temperature without any contact with suspected cases ; - The wearing of face mask (nose cap) is compulsory for any person who enters the institution ; - Access into the institution shall only be for people who are clearly identified and whose presence within the institution is necessary ; - The regular disinfection of laboratories, workshops, equipment and examination halls ; - The examination centres and distribution of specialties will be published one week to the conduct of exams.

2- Specific measures a- Defence of internship reports and supervised projects : - This assessment will hold from 8th to 26th June 2020 - Admission into the school is allowed only for candidates who have been programmed, according to an order carefully established and widely publicized ; - Hydro-alcoholic disinfectant solutions should be systematically made available and used by all stakeholders in the defence halls ;

  • A distance of at least one (1) metre should be observed between the members of the jury;
