Friendship, respect and solidarity! ...

The event thus took place! The meeting occurred on our soil, on Cameroonian ground, in our arena - Symbol of our collective belonging, the Unity Palace, Proud, well decorated, the majesty of Cameroon showcased to world. The august guest undoubtedly betrays a little bit his wonder, perhaps his surprise,: «Here in Cameroon, you are Africa (...) you are finally a symbol of Africa » he says.
He came, he saw, he was convinced, now he knows.
It was on the 3rd of July 2015. The occasion was expected. It was beautiful. As usual though, some people had a malicious pleasure. They raised artificial clouds to try to darken the sky artificially. But the sky was not darkened; it rather merged with the occasion in all its splendour in a clear and transparent blue. It was a perfect weather, an ideal climate, literally and figuratively, for a calm, frank talk, between old friends.
They talked of the friendship of peoples, of a common history, of our misunderstandings, of our victories, in short, of us, in the present as well as in the future, with its obvious certainties and its distant uncertainties. We talk like friends: « In the relationships we have established with President BIYA, we talk about everything » said François HOLLANDE.
A frankly uninhibited friendship. But a serious friendship, which portrays on each occasion, in brief instances and in long moments, in happiness and in misfortune: «Between friends, what matters most is not the time spent together, (...) it is, I deeply believe, the mutual respect given to one another, the quality, the depth, the sincerity and the wealth of the links » said, Paul BIYA.
All is said. The rest is just solidarity deployment, the fruit of strengthened friendship. And the subjects abound.
Were there sounds of Kalashnikov somewhere? Were there Shells that pierced the air? Were there explosions of Human bombs?
- «We will spare no effort to protect our territory » says President BIYA.
- For us, « we will support the Cameroonian authorities, through the provision of information, especially images, and the training of military » retorted President HOLLANDE.
Of solidarity, it is also in the economic field. Wealth creators from both sides worked together. Officials signed agreements that will seal the spirit of solidarity, for the good of our peoples.
Were there any annoying subjects? It was clearly said, «We talk about everything,» and alternation of course. No taboo subject. 2018 is
