COMMUNIQUÉ
FOR THE ATTENTION OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES AT THE 2026 SESSION OF THE BAR EXAMINATION TO QUALIFY AS ADVOCATES-IN-TRAINING
The President of the Cameroon Bar Association hereby informs all successful candidates at the 2026 session of the Bar Examination to qualify as Advocate-In-Training that the administration of their oath of enrolment (swearing-in ceremony) has been scheduled to take place in October 2026 throughout the national territory following a program that will be communicated in due course.
To this end, the persons concerned are requested to submit to the Bar President’s Representative or special Delegate of his/her principal’s place of professional residence, no later than 30th September 2026, (strict deadline), three (3) copies of their oath-taking files comprising one original and two copies, containing the following documents:
• A stamped application, addressed to the President of the High Court;
• Proof of success in the Entrance Examination for pupillage: An extract of Ministerial Order No 211/DPJ/SG/MJ of July 02, 2026 to Publish the List of Successful Candidates at the 2026 Session of the examination to qualify as an advocate-in-training containing the first page, the page containing the candidate’s name highlighted, and the last page bearing the signature of the Minister of State, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals;
• A contract of collaboration with the principal (training master);
- A Receipt of payment of two years' Bar Dues (84.000 FCFA)
which may be deposited in any of the following Bar accounts: - NFC BANK SA: Account N°10025 00030 16401020423 82, in the name of “Cameroon Bar Association”, - BANQUE ATLANTIQUE CAMEROUN: Account N° 10034 00020 37122238901 95 in the name of “Cameroon Bar Association”, - AFRILAND FIRST BANK: Account N°10005 00001 02127071001 91, in the name of “Barreau du CAMEROUN”, - ECOBANK: Accounts N°10029 00002 30245014275 19 / 0020132603098801, in the name of “Barreau du CAMEROUN”, - BICEC: Account N°10001 06800 54758000003 42, in the name of “Barreau du CAMEROUN”, - A Principal's Attestation of non-indebtedness; - A Proof of payment of fees for professional card; - Proof of payment of 50,000 FCFA (fifty thousand francs) contribution to the Bar solidarity fund, exclusively into UBA Account N° 10033 05218 18064000037 04, in the name of "BARREAU DU CAMEROUN,"; - A copy of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree duly certified by the competent authority of the relevant issuing university, or the certificate of equivalence issued by the competent department of the Ministry of Higher Education; - A Certificate of Nationality; - A Certified copy of Birth Certificate; - A Certificate of Non-conviction valid for at least 3 months; - One color passport-size photograph (4x4 cm);
