FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL ADVOCATES
The Bar President wishes to inform all advocates that the Cameroon Bar Association and the International Conference of Bars and Law Societies with a Common Legal Tradition (CIB) shall be organising an international colloquium on “Securing Investments under Mixed Legal Systems” on the 4th and 5th of July 2024 in Douala.
The colloquium, which shall be led by experts from Canada, France, Louisiana, England, Cameroon, will focus on three major themes as follows:
- An overview of different legal systems;
- Safeguards for a fair and equitable judicial process in systems with mixed legal traditions;
- Protecting the legal interests of investors.
Advocates are invited to register promptly with the Bar Secretariat or with the Representatives of the Bar President.
