Officials of the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform, my dear collaborators;
Trade unionists and human rights activists of public service users;
Members of the national and international media;
Civil servants and State employees of Cameroon,
Dear readers, listeners and viewers, in your respective homes.
It's just over five months that, by the grace of God and the will of His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic, Head of State, that your humble servant, that I am, was fortunate to be appointed at the helm of the very important Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform.

Let me first of all, reiterate my deep and sincere appreciation to the Head of State, as well as to the Prime Minister, Head of Government, for this vote of confidence.
I will strive, every day, with the help of my collaborators, without exception, to fulfill this delicate mission.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
At least, you will agree with me that to manage the career of more than two hundred and forty thousand (240.000) civil servants and State employees, from the beginning up till the end, is an arduous and delicate task.
We are indeed, conscious, as one of my illustrious elder once said, I quote: "In Cameroon, the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform arouses so much passion as the Indomitable Lions". End of quote.
Quite normal, since it is known that the career of a man or woman is in reality, the essence of his or her life.
