# PRESS RELEASE
Within the framework of the continuation of actions to rehabilitate the State’s salary card index, and more specifically the control and securing of the record of beneficiaries of deceased government workers and pensioners as well as that of invalidity pensions, beneficiaries of pensions whose acts have not been found at the issuing administrations, have been sensitized to imperatively deposit a copy of the act attributing them the said pensions, at the nearest General Treasury (General Affairs Bureau), on Friday last 20 March 2020 at the latest.
At the end of this period, on 7,778 acts expected, 6,268 have still not been found, representing nearly 81% of the targeted beneficiaries. In order to be reassured that the current pandemic did not penalize some people, and to avoid that potential fraudsters continue to collect undue pensions, a final additional deadline which will expire on Friday June 19, 2020, is granted to the 6,268 people concerned from the date of signature of this press release, to imperatively deposit a copy of the deed attributing them the pension, alongside a copy of the pay slip or a copy of the cash voucher relating thereto, at the nearest General Treasury (General Affairs Bureau). After this period, unjustified pensions will be out rightly expunged from the State salary card index and coercive measures to recover the sums already collected will then be initiated against them.
To ensure better awareness, the lists of names of the persons concerned have been sent to the various structures where their pensions are regularly paid, in particular Treasury stations, banking and micro-finance institutions, for wide sensitization These lists are also displayed in the Regional General Treasuries and appear on the website of the Directorate General of Budget (www.dgb.cm). / -
