The Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Office informs the public that a malicious individual by the name of NGUELE Pierre has been impersonating a close aide of the Prime Minister, Head of Government. This individual has been placing calls and sending messages to members of the public with the intent to defraud them.
He has been soliciting money under the pretext of facilitating the processing of administrative files, and has also been falsely announcing the organisation of a conference, purportedly scheduled from 11 to 13 August 2025.
The Secretary General wishes to reassure the public that the handling of files at the Prime Minister’s Office is not subject to any follow-up or intermediaries. Furthermore, no such conference is planned by the Office at this time.
The public is therefore urged to exercise caution and to report any such reprehensible acts to the appropriate authorities without delay.
