This booklet aims to provide practical answers to anyone wishing to travel to Cameroon before and during the 33rd Edition of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON), by air, land and sea.
It is worthwhile noting that the special provisions, which derogate from common law, are provided for the reception of CAF and FIFA officials, delegations of competing teams, special guests, sponsors or any another partner of the competition.
This document covers : - Handling of travelers and their luggage, as well as material and equipment intended for the competition; - Monitoring and processing of all TotalEnergies AFCON 2021 related operations.

On arrival

- Complete the pre-declaration form before disembarking;
- Indicate special status and follow the corresponding special Customs corridor;
- Submit pre-declarations to staff in charge of customs controls;

# Treatment of material and equipment intended for competition
> Assistance with formalities: Use of Authorized Customs Brokers (ACB)
ACBs are intermediaries recognized by the Customs Administration to complete customs formalities for others (see list of COCAN accredited ACBs).

# Removal of material and equipment
Material and equipment imported by CAF, FIFA, official delegations, accredited media, sponsors and officially invited persons intended directly or indirectly for the competition shall be subject to immediate release subject to the formalities below:
- Direct removal of material and technical equipment, subject to the subscription of a COCAN moral guarantee, followed by the regularization of the operation within fifteen (15) days by a customs goods declaration;
- Admission with exemption of customs duties and taxes, including computer fees, for items intended for direct use of the competition, as well as the personal effects of those concerned;
- Normal Temporary Admission (NTA) procedure for material and technical equipment liable to be re-exported, for a period of sixty (60) days, subject to the subscription of a COCAN moral guarantee.
Supporters and tourists will benefit from a Duty and Tax Free Admission for their personal effects.
