Announcement — Issuance of Treasury Bills (BTA) — 13-weeks, 27 December 2017

The Public Treasury of the Republic of Cameroon announces the issuance of 13-week fungible Treasury Bills via auction on 27 December 2017. The issuance volume is 10,000 million CFAF with a unit face value of 1,000,000 CFAF. Interest is pre-computed from the face value. Subscriptions are open to individuals and corporate entities through approved primary dealers listed in the announcement. The settlement date is 29 December 2017.

ISSUANCE OF TREASURY BILLS

On the 27th of December 2017, the Public Treasury of the Republic of Cameroon shall, by way of auction, issue Fungible Treasury Bills with the following characteristics:

13-weeks Treasury Bills - Issuance Code CM1100000544 BTA-13 30-MARS-2018 - Maturity date 30th of March 2018 - Re-imbursement In fine - Nature of securities Dematerialized securities - Issuance volume (in million CFAF) 10 000 - Unit face value (in CFAF) 1 000 000 - Return Interest shall be pre-computed from the face value of the bonds - Subscription deadline Wednesday, 27th of December 2017 before 9 a.m. - Subscription venue Banks and financial establishments approved as primary dealers by the Minister in charge of Finance of the Republic of Cameroon Thursday, 28th of December 2017 before 12 noon - Publication of results Friday, 29th of December 2017 before 3 p.m. - Settlement date Friday, 29th of December 2017 - Value date
