RésuméLe Ministre des Sports et de l'Éducation Physique du Cameroun lance un concours artistique national pour la proposition de la mascotte officielle de la Coupe d'Afrique des Nations Cameroun 2021. Le concours est ouvert du 1er au 14 avril 2021 aux artistes camerounais. Les candidats doivent soumettre une proposition de mascotte originale accompagnée d'un formulaire d'inscription. Un jury sélectionnera les trois meilleures propositions, et la mascotte retenue deviendra la propriété du COCAN 20-21…

# NATIONAL ARTISTIC CONTEST FOR THE PROPOSAL OF THE OFFICIAL MASCOT OF THE AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS CAMEROON 2021

SPECIAL RULES

Article 1.- The Minister of Sports and Physical Education - President of the Local Organizing Committee of TOTAL CHAN 2020 and TOTAL AFCON 2021 (COCAN 20-21), launches a National Artistic Contest for the proposal of the Official Mascot of the Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021, hereinafter referred to as the "Competition".

Article 2.- The Competition is open from the 1st to 14th April 2021 to Cameroonian artists of both sex (02) that is: Plastic art designers, Illustrators, Drawing artists, Graphic designers and other professionals or amateurs evolving in the field of Visual Arts and Graphics designing.

Article 3.- Propositions can be made by individuals or groups.

Article 4.- Candidates interested in the Contest must submit just one (1) proposed Mascot.

Article 5.- The Mascot proposed by the candidate accompanied by a duly filled registration form, shall be presented in two (2) colour copies on white paper in A3 format (42x60cm) and in soft copy using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (flash drive, CD or any other electronic device).

Article 6.- The registration form and the Special Contest Rules can be obtained from the Tournament Management located at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium, in Regional and Divisional Delegations for Sports and Physical Education and on the website www.minsep.cm.

Article 7.- Participation in the Contest is free. No fees shall be required to register or participate for the contest, as well as for the withdrawal or submission of applications.

Article 8.- Each proposed Mascot by the candidate shall be accompanied by:

  1. a copy of a sworn declaration stating that the candidate is the author of the work;
  1. a descriptive sheet not exceeding two (2) pages in A4 format (21x29.7cm) in which the candidate shall present his work: theme, year of creation, dimensions as well as a brief semiological analysis (See registration and semiological description form).

Article 9.- The proposed Mascot by the candidate must be original and outstanding. It should not have been presented before, rewarded in any nature. It must be free of all rights.

Article 10.- The proposed Mascot as well as the complete application files (physical and electronic copy) must be submitted latest on Wednesday 14th April 2021 at 3:00pm, at the Tournament Management Office (Yaounde Omnisports Stadium), in all Regional and Divisional Delegations of Sports and Physical Education.

Article 11.- The proposed Mascot shall be examined, evaluated, appreciated and selected by a jury based on a well set mechanism.
