The Minister of Finance informs the Service and Users that the goods eligible under the preferential trade regime of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between Cameroon and the European Union are subject to the following tariff liberalisation rates with effect from the 04th of August 2021:
- 100% for the goods of the 1st group;
- 75% for the goods of the 2nd group;
- 20% for the goods of the 3rd group.
The lists of the said goods can be consulted and downloaded on the websites of the Ministry of Finance (www.minfi.gov.cm) and the Directorate General of Customs (www.customs.cm).
In addition, a working group (EPA Intelligence Unit) has been created within the Directorate General of Customs to make available to the public all relevant information related to EPAs.
This working group, which is the interface between the Service and Users in terms of centralization and processing of inquiries, is located in the Customs IT Division located in Douala Bonanjo, Office N°27 and is available on the following email address: veilleape@minfi.gov.cm.
