# PRESS RELEASE
The minister of Finance hereby informs his staff that a call for applications has been issued by the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) for the following positions:
- Team leader for the “UDDU” Water Resources Management and Coordination Center (UD-WRMCC);
- Expert in planning, Monitoring and Evaluation for the UD-WRMCC;
- Expert in Administration and Finance, Resource Mobilization for the UD-WRMCC;
- Regional expert in Water Resources for the UD-WRMCC;
- Accounting secretary for the UD-WRMCC.
# PLACE AND DATE OF DEPOSIT
Those interested by this recruitment are asked to exclusively submit or send their applications in sealed envelopes to the mail service of the ECCAS Commission, BP 2112 Libreville, Gabon with the unique mention on the envelope: “Application for the position of coordinator for the UD- WRMCC Ref: REC 2021/01/UD-WRMCC /CDD”, latest on 20 April 2023 at 3:30 p.m.
The contract is valid for 12 months renewable corresponding to the start-up phase of the WRMCC. The first year, dedicated for the operation of the WRMCC, is the trial year whose success will lead to the extension of the contract throughout the start-up phase. The duty station is Bujumbura.
The candidate will benefit from the salary conditions in force at the ECCAS Commission.
# COMPOSITION OF THE FILE
The application file must contain:
- A motivational letter addressed to the President of the ECCAS Commission;
- Detailed and up-to-date curriculum vitae;
- A technical note on your understanding of the tasks and responsibilities required in the “TDR”
- A copy of a or diploma(s) certified as true copies of the originals;
- A criminal record extract;
- One or more certificates of service rendered as well as any other document that may support your application;
- A copy of the identity card;
- Three referenced people with their contacts.
# PROFILE
Show solid experience in the development and coordination of monitoring and evaluation systems of plans, projects and programmes and in the capitalization of informations. You must also show understanding of the results framework approach and other approaches to strategic planning, information analysis and reporting.
# SELECTION AND QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
- Have at least a higher education diploma “BAC +5” in rural Engineering, economics, agronomy, climate change, transport, environment, biology, forestry, sociology; etc.
- Have a good experience in planning, programming and monitoring and evaluation approaches to development projects and programmes. Training in the domains of (strategic and operational planning and/or Results-Based Management (RBM) supported by complementary attestation/certificate will be considered an asset);
