RELATING TO THE AUTHORISATION TO OPEN TEACHING POSITIONS.-

In accordance with the instructions of the PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, HEAD OF STATE, the Prime Minister, Head of Government informs the general public that there shall be a recruitment of one hundred and fifty (150) University teachers in the new State Universities of Bertoua, Ebolowa and Garoua, for the 2023 fiscal year. This recruitment concerns Cameroonians aged at most 45 years on 1 October 2023, and holders of a Doctorat or a PhD.

The teaching positions shall be distributed as follows:

University of Bertoua : 45 positions University of Ebolowa : 45 positions University of Garoua : 45 positions Quota for academic regulation : 15 positions

The recruitment process shall be coordinated by the Minister in charge of Higher Education according to the regulatory provisions in force.

Rectors shall, respectively, launch the recruitment through a call for applications in the various disciplines, after the approval of the Technical Committee and the final decision of the Central Supervisory Commission.

Each interested candidate shall submit his/her file to only one of the three (3) new State Universities of his/her choice, latest on 26 May 2023.

Cameroonians living abroad shall deposit their files in Diplomatic missions and Consular offices, latest on 19 May 2023.

The application file shall include the following documents:

1. A stamped application not older than three (3) months, addressed to the head of the University chosen;
2. A certified photocopy of birth certificate signed within the last three months;
3. A detailed and signed Curriculum vitae;
4. Certified photocopies of all certificates from the Baccalaureat or GCE Advanced Level;
5. A copy of the Doctorat or the PhD thesis;
6. Copies of articles or off-prints of any publications, where necessary;
7. A medical certificate issued within the last three (3) months by a medical doctor of the public health sector;

SERVICES DU PREMIER MINISTRE DIRECTION DES AFFAIRES ADMINISTRATIFS ET DES REQUÊTES COPIE CERTIFIÉE CONFORME

1. Four (4) passport size photographs (colour);
2. A photocopy of a valid National Identity Card;
3. An attestation of service as permanent teacher in the university of origin, signed by a competent authority, for candidates who are applying for the position of senior lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor;
4. A certificate of non-conviction issued within the last three (3) months;
5. A certificate of nationality and/or, for candidates living abroad, photocopies of passport and residence permit certified by the Cameroonian Consular services;
6. An attestation of effective presence signed by a competent authority (exclusively for candidates of medical and paramedical fields);
7. An authorisation from the user Minister or head of Administration (exclusively for candidates of medical and paramedical fields);
8. A copy of the National Disability Card (for disabled persons);
