RADIO ANNOUNCEMENT/PRESS RELEASE No. 013 /CRP/MINEFOP/SG/USCP-C2D
Call for Applications for the Selection and Training of Young People under the Project to Promote Vocational Training and Youth Integration in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Processing.
The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training hereby launches a call for applications for the recruitment and training of young people under the Project to Promote Vocational Training and Youth Integration in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Processing, for the following professions:
- Connected Permaculture Market Gardener (CPMG);
- Online Processor and Distributor of Plant-Based Products (OPDP).
Eligible to apply are Cameroonian young people (wishing to acquire or upgrade their skills) meeting the following criteria:
For Connected Permaculture Market Gardener (CPMG): - Be at least 17 years old; - Hold a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or any equivalent qualification; - Be of sound mental health; - Be physically fit to engage in agricultural activities; - Demonstrate proficiency in basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
For Online Processor and Distributor of Plant-Based Products (OPDP): - Be at least 17 years old; - Hold a General Certificate of Education – Ordinary Level (GCE-OL) or any equivalent qualification; - Be of sound mental health; - Demonstrate proficiency in basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Required Documents: - Photocopy of birth certificate; - Photocopy of national identity card; - Photocopy of required diploma; - Duly completed application form.
The application form is available at the Regional and Divisional Delegations of MINEFOP, at the Monitoring and Coordination Unit (USCP) of the C2D-Vocational Training Program, located on the 2nd floor of the MAMCH building, opposite JOCCIDALO Petrol Station, Nlongkak Roundabout, Yaounde, or can be downloaded from: www.minefop.cm.
Completed applications must be submitted to the Regional and Divisional Delegations of MINEFOP (for candidates outside Yaounde), to the USCP, or sent by email to uscpc2dminefop@gmail.com no later than 12 August 2025 at 3:30 PM.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the interview phase.
NB: Female applications are strongly encouraged.
