ABSORPTION OF CONTRACT GRADE ONE TEACHERS (2005-2006 BATCHES) AND CONTRACT SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS (1998-1999-2000 BATCHES) INTO THE CORPS OF NATIONAL EDUCATION CIVIL SERVANTS FOR THE 2017 FINANCIAL YEAR
NOTICE ON THE ABSORPTION OF CONTRACT TEACHERS
Pursuant to directives of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform hereby informs Contract Grade I Teachers of the 2005 and 2006 batches and Contract Secondary School Teachers of 1998, 1999 and 2000 batches that an operation to absorb them into the corps of National Education civil servants has been announced for the 2017 financial year in conformity with the provisions of decree No.2000/359 of 5 December 2000 to lay down the Special Rules and Regulations of the Corps of National Education civil servants, according to the following terms and conditions:
I- ABSORPTION OF CONTRACT GRADE ONE TEACHERS
- Absorption into B1 (Grade I Teachers or Grade I Technical School Instructors) of Contract Grade I Teachers holders of the diploma of the 1st cycle of GTTC (Teacher's Grade II Certificate or Teacher's Grade I Certificate) or certificate from GTTTC (Grade I Technical School Instructor's Certificate) or the GCE A/L or a recognized equivalent diploma and with at least 10 (ten) years of seniority and effective service as a teacher;
- Absorption into B2 (Senior Grade I Teachers or Senior Grade I Technical School Instructors) of Contract Grade I Teachers with at least 10 (ten) years of effective service as a teacher, holders of the diploma of the 1st cycle of GTTC (Teacher's Grade II or Teacher's Grade I Certificates) or GTTTC (Grade I Technical School Instructor's Certificate) and a Bachelor Degree or a Testimonial of Success obtained at the end of the second year of a Higher institution of learning;
- Absorption into A1 (Grade II Teacher Training College Tutor, Secondary School Teacher, Technical and Vocational Secondary School Teacher) of Contract Grade I Teachers who have benefited from a reclassification in category or a bonus in incremental position on the basis of a diploma obtained at the end of the first cycle of the Higher Teachers' Training College or Higher Technical Teachers' Training College, or a recognized equivalent diploma;
- Absorption into A1 (Grade II Teacher Training College Tutor) of Contract Grade I Teachers with at least 10 (ten) years of seniority and effective service as a teacher; holders of the diploma of the 1st cycle of GTTC (Teacher's Grade II or Teacher's Grade I Certificate) and a diploma in Science of Education recognized as equivalent to the Teacher Training College Tutor's Diploma, or a Bachelor Degree in Science of Education or Bachelor Degree in Psychology majoring in Science of Education;
