COMMUNIQUE ON A SENSITIZATION CAMPAIGN ON "ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT OF ADVOCATES"
The President of the Cameroon Bar hereby informs all its members that the Bar is organizing a sensitization campaign on ethics and professional conduct from the 21st to 25th November 2022, within the jurisdictions of all courts of appeal.
Dupped "Week of Sensitization on Ethics and professional conduct", This campaign has been sanctioned by the Bar Council as a means to address and remedy certain shortcomings observed within our Corporation.
The launching of this campaign shall take place in Douala on the 21st November of, 2022. After this inaugural address which shall be made accessible to Advocates in the other Regions via video conferencing, the rest of the campaign shall consist of workshops (presentations and exchanges) addressing a number of topics of professional interest and shall be organized as follows:
Monday 21st November 2022 : LITTORAL Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022 : SOUTHWEST Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022 : CENTER - SOUTHEAST Thursday, November 24rd, 2022
: WEST : ADAMOUA : NORTH : FAR NORTH : EAST

The Bar President has contacted the Heads of Courts to ensure that the necessary dispositions for the absence of colleagues from court are accommodated. Consequently, he attaches importance to the imperative participation of all colleagues in this campaign.
The Bar president, enjoins all colleagues to be dressed in the colors and attires prescribed by our rules and usages.
