The Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education announces to the general public and prospective candidates that the government of the People's Republic of China is offering 13 scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year, for first cycle university studies, Master's and PhD levels.
The fields of studies are: Minig Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Sciences, Network and Computer Security, Medicine, Agriculture, Industrial Fishery, International Trade, Educational Management, Chinese Culture and Language etc.
Eligibility criteria:
- Be of Cameroonian nationality;
- Be in good health both physically and mentally;
- Be a holder of the GCE Advanced Level, Baccalaureate or equivalent certificate with at least a fairly good grade, for undergraduate candidates;
- Be a holder of a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree with at least a fairly good grade, for postgraduate candidates;
- Have at least 15/20 to apply for Medicine;
- The aforementioned certificates should not be older than 02 years;
- Be at most 22 years old for undergraduate studies and at most 32 years old for postgraduate studies.
Documents required for application:
- A handwritten application with a fiscal stamp, addressed to the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education with the field of study chosen, sex, age and Region of origine clearly mentioned;
- An application form to be filled and printed on the website www.campuschina.org (Programme Category: Type A, Agency N°: 1201);
- A preadmission letter from the university chosen in the aforementioned website;
- A certified photocopy of birth certificate dated not more than 03 months;
- A certificate of nationality;
- A photocopy of passport;
- Certified photocopies of required certificates, accompanied with notarized translations in English or Chinese;
- Photocopies of university transcripts for postgraduate candidates, accompanied with notarized translations in English or Chinese;
- A detailed study plan or research project written in English or Chinese (minimum of 200 words for undergraduate candidates and minimum of 800 words for postgraduates);
- 02 recommendation letters in English or Chinese, each signed by a university lecturer (Associate Professor or Professor), for postgraduates;
- A form of medical exams from the Yaounde Gynaeco-Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital with results dated not more than 06 months;
- A non-criminal record report;
- A medical certificate;
- An A4 size envelope.
State workers are eligible upon presentation of a study leave application letter transmitted by their service administration to the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reform.
The candidate's complete file in 02 copies (01 original + 01 photocopy) is to be submitted at the Ministry of Higher Education, 15th floor, room 1504 latest 13 December 2024, at 3:30pm prompt.
