A written competitive examination into public and private Health Personnel Training institutions in the Republic of Cameroon will take place on the 13th of August 2016, according to the following provisions:

III. CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED

The following can apply for the competitive Entrance Exam into schools of midwifery and health technicians:

III.1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. For the Health Technicians, Nursing care and Midwifery sections :

Cameroonians and Foreigners of both sexes, aged 18 to 30 on 1st January 2016.

  1. For the specialised nursing:

Cameroonians and Foreigners of both sexes, not older than years on 1st January 2016;

Be a holder of a two years old State Registered Nursing Certificate.

III.2. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS

  1. For the entrance examination into Nursing Assistants, Community Health Assistants and Assistant Health Technicians (Medical Analysis and Mortuary Attendants) Training Schools:

Be a holder either a BEPC, GCE 0/L (General Education) in 04 subjects or CAP in Home Economics and Medical Secretariat only.

  1. For the entrance examination into Senior Health Technicians in Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Medical Analysis, Sanitary Technicians, Medical Imagery (Radiology), Optometry/Refraction and Occupational Therapy Training Schools :

Be a holder of the GCE A/L (General Education) in at least two Science subjects or Baccalaureate.

  1. For the entrance examination into Senior Nurses (State Registered Nurses) and Midwifery Schools :

Be a holder of the GCE A/L (General Education) in at least two subjects, or holder of the Baccalaureate certificate (A, C, D, F7, or F8).

  1. For the entrance examination into Anaesthesiology and Reanimation, Mental Health, Ophthalmology or Gerontology:

Be a holder of a two years old State Registered Nursing Certificate.
