# PRESS-RELEASE

The Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform hereby informs the general public that false information is circulating on social networks and in some media outlining that a partnership has been signed between his ministry and the Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Cameroon (APTIC), within the framework of the special recruitment of 500 (five hundred) Translators and Translators-Interpreters into the public service authorized by the Head of State over a period of 5 (five) years, with effect from the 2020 financial year.

The Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform wishes to recall that no partnership has been signed between MINFOPRA and any organisation for this purpose. Consequently, he absolutely refutes this information and reminds the public that this is yet another fraud attempt orchestrated by people with dubious character and they should avoid falling into such trap.

He further warns perpetrators and accomplices of such acts that expose them to disciplinary and criminal prosecution.

Finally, for further information concerning the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform, candidates should refer to the Department of State Human Resource Development (DDRHE), the MINFOPRA website and Facebook page at the following addresses:
