RésuméThe Minister of Finance of Cameroon announces the launch of the 'BOOST CAMEROON' open budget portal at www.boostcameroon.em. The platform aims to improve transparency and good governance in public finance management by providing disaggregated budget data. Initially, data for fiscal years 2019, 2020, and 2021 will be available. The tool is expected to enhance accountability, citizen participation, and understanding of budget information.

The Minister of Finance informs the general public and the national and international press of the launch of the « BOOST CAMEROON » open budget portal at www.boostcameroon.em. This platform has been designed by the Government of Cameroon with the support of the World Bank. The overall objective is to contribute to transparency and good governance in the management of public finances.

BOOST program launched in 2010 to improve access to budget information and facilitate ek is designed to facilitate access to disaggregated budget data, in the sense that it presents Settlement Laws according to the nomenclature and budget classifications in force in each country.

For the launch of Boost Cameroon, the information available concerns fiscal years 2019, 2020. 201and soon 2The development of this important tool will undoubtedly contribute to : (i) reinforce the responsibility of public authorities in the implementation of public policies: (ii) improve citizen participation in the monitoring and control of public policy implementation; (ii) facilitate the understanding of information on programming. budgeting and the monitoringevaluation of program performance and (iv) improve the consolidation of budgetary and financial information relating to the State Budget by offering a simplified and accessible presentation of budgetary data for the majority of the population./.
