The Minister of Finance wishes to remind the general public that pursuant to the tax legislation in force, fiscal stamps are sold exclusively in the Tax Collection Offices, the Revenue Management and the Treasury Stations.
In this regard, he is calling on the general public to be vigilant and to present themselves along with all instruments and documents to be stamped directly at the retail outlets mentioned above and not to intermediaries.
Moreover, the competent services of the Directorate General of Taxation remain available for any eventual requisition in view of authenticating a questionable stamp.
The Minister of Finance specifies that in accordance with the regulations in force, documents with forged stamps will be systemically rejected without prejudice to legal proceedings. /-
