AUDIENCE WITH THE TURKISH AMBASSADOR TO CAMEROON
Advocates and advocates-in-training of the Cameroon Bar Association are hereby informed that the Bar President, accompanied by the Bar Council Member and Bar President's representative in charge of External Relations, received in audience on Friday August 21st, 2026, at the Headquarters of the Cameroon Bar Association, His Excellency, VOLKAN Öskiper, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Cameroon.
During the discussions, both parties explored avenues to strengthen bilateral relations in the legal sector. Key points addressed included:
- Institutional Cooperation: The possibility of establishing cooperation ties between the Cameroon Bar Association and Bars in Turkey.
- Infrastructure Support: Potential infrastructure assistance from Turkey to the Cameroon Bar Association.
- Exchange of Expertise: Collaboration and exchange of expertise in respective jurisdictions.
- Scholarships: The inclusion of Law in the scholarship packages offered by Turkey to Cameroonian youth.
The Cameroon Bar Association welcomes this initiative and remains committed to partnerships that promote capacity building, professional development, and the advancement of the legal profession in Cameroon.
