COMMUNIQUE
Le Ministre de la Santé Publique, Dr MANAOUDA Malachie, informe l'opinion publique nationale qu'à la suite d'une alerte, des analyses de laboratoire ont été effectués sur la friandise dénommée « LE BATON MAGIQUE » en vente sur le marché national afin d'en évaluer la conformité aux normes de qualité et de sécurité sanitaire en vigueur.
LE RÉSULTAT DE CES ANALYSES SE SONT RÉVÉLÉS NON SATISFAISANTS, METTANT EN ÉVIDENCE DES RISQUES POUR LA SANTÉ DES CONSOMMATEURS.
Par mesure de précaution et dans l'attente d'investigations complémentaires, il est instruit le retrait immédiat et préventif de la friandise « LE BATON MAGIQUE » du circuit de distribution et de commercialisation sur l'ensemble du territoire national.
À cet effet, les distributeurs, commerçants et autres points de vente sont invités à suspendre sans délai sa commercialisation jusqu'à nouvel ordre.
Le public est également appelé à s'abstenir de consommer ce produit et à signaler toute réaction inhabituelle ou tout effet indésirable observé auprès des structures sanitaires les plus proches ou en appelant le 1510.
Enfin, Le Ministre de la Santé Publique réaffirme son engagement à veiller à la protection de la santé des populations et informera l'opinion publique de toute évolution relative à cette situation.

The Minister of Public Health, Dr MANAOUDA Malachie, informs the national public that following an alert, laboratory analyses have been carried out on the treats called "LE BATON MAGIQUE" on sale on the national market in order to assess its conformity to the quality and health safety standards in force.
THE RESULTS OF THESE ANALYSES HAVE PROVEN UNSATISFACTORY, THUS HIGHLIGHTING RISKS TO CONSUMER HEALTH.
As a precautionary measure and pending further investigations, the immediate and preventive withdrawal of the candy "LE BATON MAGIQUE" from the distribution and marketing circuit throughout the national territory has been ordered.
For this reason, distributors, traders and other points of sale are asked to suspend its marketing without delay until further notice.
The public is also urged to refrain from consuming this product and to report any unusual reaction or adverse effect observed to the nearest health facilities or by calling 1510.
