The Minister of Finance, Louis Paul MOTAZE, informs the national and international community that in accordance with the provisions of the Finance Law 2023, the State of Cameroon, issues on the Sub-regional financial market of CEMAC in the period from 13 to 30 June 2023, a bond loan by Public Call for savings in the amount of 150 billion CFA francs named: ECMR 2023 with multiple tranches presented as follows:
- BAND A
Amount: 40 billion CFA francs Interest Rate: 5.80 % Maturity: over 3 years
- BAND B
Amount: 40 billion CFA francs Interest Rate: 6.00% Maturity: over 4 years
- BAND C
Amount: 50 billion CFA francs Interest Rate: 6.75% Maturity: over 6 years
- BAND C
Amount: 20 billion CFA francs Interest Rate: 7.25% Maturity: over 8 years
A press conference will be held in Yaounde on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, to serve as a launch for the (Roadshow) to present the contours of this operation to private and institutional investors.
This loan consists of 15,000,000 CFA francs bonds with a nominal value of 10,000 CFA francs. The related bonds will be listed on the Bourse des Valeurs Mobiliers d'Afrique Centrale (BVMAC).
In addition, the funds collected will be used to finance certain projects included in the Finance Law 2023.
