REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON PEACE-WORK-FATHERLAND

DECREE No. 2024/307 OF 22 July 2024 to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the International Development Association (IDA), a loan agreement for an amount of 217.1 million US dollars, equivalent to 206.1 million euros, or approximately 135 billion CFA francs, to finance the revised Douala Urban Mobility Project (PMUD)

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of Law No. 2023/019 of 19 December 2023: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameron for the 2024 financial year;

Mindful of Ordinance No. 2024/001 of 20 June 2024 to amend and supplement some provisions of Law No. 2023/019 of 19 December 2023: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameron for the 2024 financial year;

Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018,

HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1: The Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development is authorized, with powers of delegation, to sign with the International Development Association (IDA), a loan agreement for an amount of 217.1 US dollars, equivalent to 206.1 euros, or approximately 135 billion CFA francs, to finance the revised Douala Urban Mobility Project (PMUD).

ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
