DECREE N° to appoint members of the Higher Judicial Council
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution; Mindful of Law n° 82/14 of 26 November 1982 on the organization and functioning of the Higher Judicial Council and subsequent amendments thereto; Mindful of the transmissions from the National Assembly dated 3 August 2025 and 23 March 2026; Mindful of the transmission from the Supreme Court dated 22 January 2026.
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1.- The undermentioned persons are, with effect from the date of signature of this decree, appointed members of the Higher Judicial Council for a term of five (05) years:
I- Substantive Members
A/ Personalities designated by the National Assembly:
- Mme:
- SOPPO TOUTE Marlyse;
- NGONI Mariam;
- Mr. ESSOMBA BENGONO Engelbert.
B/ Personalities designated by the Supreme Court:
- Mme:
- FOFUNG NABUN, épouse WACKA;
- MEKOULOU Cunégonde Christine, épouse NGOTTY;
- Mr. MOUKOURI Francis Claude.
C/ Personalities designated by the President of the Republic
- Mr. EKONO NNA Albert.
II- Alternate Members

ARTICLE 2.- This Decree shall be registered according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.-
