THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Decree No. 76/424 of 16 September 1976 to lay down the rules of protocol applicable in public ceremonies, precedence and civil and military honours,
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: An official funeral shall be organized in honour of Mr OWONA Joseph, former Minister, Member of the Constitutional Council, who died on 6 January 2024 at Bordeaux, France, due to illness.
ARTICLE 2: The official funeral shall take place on Saturday, 17 February 2024 at Akom Bikoué (Mvengue), Ocean Division, South Region.
ARTICLE 3: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
