Regulation of the Department of Foreign Trade On the Use of Certification Mark for THAI HOM MALI RICE B.E. 2565 (2022)
Whereas it is expedient to revise the Regulation of the Department of Foreign Trade on the Use of Certification Mark for THAI HOM MALI RICE B.E. 2562 (2019) dated 12 March 2019, which specifies rules, regulations, and terms of permission and use of the Certification Mark for THAI HOM MALI RICE, registered with the Department of Intellectual Property, in order to maintain consistency with the current circumstances and compliance with the provisions of Section 82 and Section 86 of the Trademark Act B.E. 2534 (1991), the Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade hereby issues a regulation, as follows:
Clause 1. This Regulation is called "Regulation of the Department of Foreign Trade on the Use of Certification Mark for THAI HOM MALI RICE B.E. 2565 (2022)".
Clause 2. This Regulation shall come into force on 29 June 2022.
Clause 3. The Regulation of the Department of Foreign Trade on the Use of Certification Mark for THAI HOM MALI RICE B.E. 2562 (2019) dated 12 March 2019 shall be repealed.
Clause 4. In this Regulation:
"THAI HOM MALI RICE" means brown rice and white rice processed from paddy of the KhaoDok Mall 105 and RD15 cultivars whose quality and standard meet the specifications prescribed by the Ministry of Commerce under the Standards of Exporting Goods Act B.E. 2503 (1980);
"Ready-to-eat THAI HOM MALI RICE" means THAI HOM MALI RICE which has been processed and cooked so that it is ready for consumption, and has been packaged so that it is ready to be distributed;
