ORDER No. 004 /PM OF 13 JAN 2022 approving the appointment of Mr. John ELUFA MANGA-Williams as first class traditional Chief of Limbe.
THE PRIME MINISTER, HEAD OF GOVERNMENT,
Mindful of the Constitution; Mindful of law No.79/17 of 30 June 1979 on disputes regarding the appointment of traditional chiefs; Mindful of law No.80/31 of 27 November 1980 to divest jurisdiction of matters related to disputes regarding the appointment of traditional chiefs; Mindful of Decree No.77/245 of 15 July 1977 on the organization of traditional chieftaincies and its amendments; Mindful of Decree No.92/089 of 4 May 1992 laying down the duties of the Prime Minister, amended and supplemented by Decree No.95/145 bis of 4 August 1995; Mindful of Decree No.2008/376 of 12 December 2008 on the administrative organization of the Republic of Cameroon; Mindful of Decree No.2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, amended and supplemented by Decree No.2018/190 of 2 March 2018; Mindful of Decree No.2019/001 of 4 January 2019 appointing the Prime Minister, Head of Government; Mindful of Order No.19/CAB/PM of 7 February 1981 determining traditional chiefdoms and its amendments; Mindful of the report of the Council of Kingmakers of 18th July 2018,
ORDERS AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE.- The appointment of Mr. John ELUFA MANGA-Williams as first class traditional Chief of Limbe, Fako Division, South-West Region, in replacement of Mr. Ferguson Bill MANGA Williams, who died on the 9th July 2005, is hereby approved, with effect from 18th July 2018.
SECTION 2.- The concerned shall be entitled to all benefits as provided by the law in force.
SECTION 3.- This order shall be registered and published according to the procedure of urgency, then inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French./-
