To launch the common competitive entrance examination into the 1st year of the Engineering Cycle (a five (05) year program) of the National Advanced School of Mines and Petroleum Industries of the University of Maroua, and the 1st year of the Professional Bachelor’s Degree Cycle (a three (03) year program), and the 4th year of the Professional Master’s Degree Cycle (a two (02) year program) of the Sub-Regional Bilingual University Institute, Agenla Academy Yaoundé (AA), a Private Institute of Higher Education (IPES) under its supervision, for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of law N°2023/007 of 25 july 2023 on the orientation of Higher Education in Cameroon;
Mindful of decree N°2012/433 of 01 October 2012 to organize the Ministry of Higher Education;
Mindful of decree N°93/027 of 19 January 1993 to lay down the general provisions governing Universities, modified and completed by decree N°2005/342 of 10 September 2005;
Mindful of decree N°2008/280 of 09 August 2008 to create the University of Maroua;
Mindful of decree N°2008/281 of 09 August 2008 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Maroua;
Mindful of decree N°2017/318 of 27 June 2017 to appoint a Vice-Chancellor and Rectors of some State Universities; of decree N°2017/349 of 06 July 2017 to modify and complete certain dispositions of decree N°2013/333 of 13
Mindful of decree N°2022/011 of 07 January 2022 bringing a change of name of Faculty of Mines and Petroleum Industries to the National Advanced School of Mines and Petroleum Industries of the University of Maroua; of decree N°2022/012 of 07 January 2022 appointing administrative and academic organization of the National Advanced School of Mines and Petroleum Industries of the University of Maroua; of order N°18/00022/MINESUP of 19 January 2018 to create Departments in the Faculty of Mines and Petroleum Industries of the University of Maroua:
Mindful of order N°18240028/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC of 14 February 2024 to organize the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into Faculties, Schools and Institutes of Cameroon State Universities for 2024-2025 academic year.
DECIDES:
Article 1 (a) A common competitive written entrance examination, into:
- the 1st year of the engineering cycle program for the 2024-2025 academic year is launched, for the recruitment of one hundred (100) engineering students, into the National Advanced School of Mines and Petroleum Industries (NASPI) of the University of Maroua;
- the 1st year of the Professional Bachelor’s Degree Cycle, (a three (03) year program) for the 2024-2025 academic year is launched for the recruitment of two hundred (200) students into the Sub-Regional Bilingual University Institute, Agenla Academy Yaoundé (AA), a Private Institute of Higher Education (IPES), under the supervision of NASPI;
