DECISION N° 18260257 / MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC OF 29 MAI 2026
To launch the competitive entrance examination into the first year of Initial Training of the University Diploma in Technology (UDT) at the University Institute of Wood Technology (IUT) of the University of Yaounde I at Mbalmayo, and to fix the number of places offered for the 2026/2027 academic year.
THE MINISTER OF STATE, MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION,
Mindful of the Constitution; Mindful of Law no. 2023/007 of 25 July 2023 setting up Higher Education Orientation in Cameroon; Mindful of Decree no. 93/027 of 19 January 1993 to lay down general provisions applicable to the Universities, as amended and supplemented by Decree n° 2005/342 of 10 September 2005; Mindful of Decree n° 93/027 of 19 January 1993 to lay down the general regulations governing Universities; Mindful of Decree n° 93/036 of 29 January 1993 to organize the University of Yaounde I; Mindful of Decree n° 2005/342 of 10 September 2005 to amend and supplement some provisions Mindful of Decree n° 2005/383 of 17 October 2005 to lay down financial regulations applicable to State Universities; Mindful of Decree no. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government; Mindful of Decree no. 2011/410 of 9 December 2011 to appoint members of Government; Mindful of Decree no. 2012/433 of 1st October 2012 to organize the Ministry of Higher Education; Mindful of Decree no. 2013/0891/PM of 12 March 2013 to appoint Officials in the Ministry of Higher Education; Mindful of Decree no. 2019/002 of 4 January 2019 to reorganize the Government; Mindful of Decree no. 2024/106 of 09 april 2024 to appoint Rectors in some state Universities; Mindful of Decision no. 18260039/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC du 17th February 2026, to fix the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into some Establishments of State Universities for the 2026/2027 academic year;
DECIDES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: A competitive entrance examination for the admission of 90 (Ninety) candidates in the first year of Initial training in the University Institute of Wood Technology (IUT) of the University of Yaounde I at Mbalmayo has been launched in the following fields, for the 2026/2027 academic year:

ARTICLE 2: The competitive entrance examination cited in article 1 above is open to Cameroonians of both sexes and to foreign candidates residing in Cameroon within the limits of available places.
ARTICLE 3: Candidates for the competitive entrance examination should be at most 25 years of age by the date of the examination.
