Cette décision du Bâtonnier de l'Ordre des Avocats du Cameroun crée une Commission pour la Réflexion Stratégique et les Projets du Barreau. Elle nomme les membres de cette commission, dont un président, un vice-président, des rapporteurs et des membres. La commission a pour mission de conseiller le Bâtonnier sur l'exécution des projets du Barreau et de proposer des stratégies. Elle dispose d'un mois pour présenter son plan d'action pour l'année 2023.

CREATING AND APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE COMMISSION FOR STRATEGIC REFLECTION AND PROJECTS OF THE CAMEROON BAR ASSOCIATION

THE PRESIDENT OF THE CAMEROON BAR ASSOCIATION,

MINDFUL of Law No. 90/059 of 19th December 1990 to organize Practice at the Bar;

MINDFUL of Decision N°41/DPJ/SG/MJ of 12th April 2005 on the Internal Regulations of the Cameroon Bar Association;

MINDFUL of the Proceedings of the General Assembly of the Cameroon Bar Association of 19th and 20th June 2022;

MINDFUL of the General Directives of the Bar President on the functioning of the Bar council;

MINDFUL of the necessity of service;

DECIDES AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1: Under the supervision of the Bar President, the Commission for Strategic Reflection and Projects of the Cameroon Bar Association shall constitute an advisory body to the Bar President on the execution of Bar projects.

It shall conceive and draw up projects for the Bar. It shall make recommendations to the Bar President or Presidents of Commissions on strategies to lobby for project fundings and best practices for implementation.

The President, Vice President and Rapporteurs shall recommend to the Bar President the designation of any Advocate they appreciate competent to be a member of this commission.

Article 2: From the date of signature of the present Decision, the following Advocates are appointed to the Commission for Strategic Reflection and Projects of the Cameroon Bar Association:

Article 3: At the behest of the Bar Secretary, this Decision shall be notified to the President of the commission and published accordingly in English and French.

The President of the said commission shall be responsible for the notification of this Decision on all appointed members.

The President may co-opt any other member whose competence is relevant to the attainment of its objectives.

Article 4: The commission has one month, from the date of notification of the present Decision on its President, to present its plan of action for the year 2023 to the Bar President.
