DECREE No. 2025/539 OF 03 DEC 2025
to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the African Export-Import Bank (AFREXIMBANK), a loan contract for an amount of EUR 55 474 000, approximately CFAF 36.39 billion, as additional financing of the Project for Rural Electrification through Photovoltaic Solar system in 200 localities (phase III, electrification of 51 localities)
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Law No. 2023/013 of 23 December 2024: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2025 financial year, as amended and supplemented by Ordinance No. 2025/001 of 11 July 2025;
Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018.
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: The Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development is authorized, with powers of delegation, to sign with the African Export-Import Bank (AFREXIMBANK), a loan contract for an amount of EUR 55 474 000, approximately CFAF 36.39 billion, as additional financing of the Project for Rural Electrification through Photovoltaic Solar System in 200 localities (phase III, electrification of 51 localities).
ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
