# ORDER No. 005 888 /MINFOPRA OF

To announce a training competitive examination for the recruitment of 10 (ten) student Senior Meteorology Technicians and 15 (fifteen) student Meteorology Technicians into the National Advanced School of Engineering (ENSPM) of the University of Maroua, for the 2019/2020 academic year.

THE MINISTER OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE REFORM,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of decree No.75/781 of 18 December 1975 to lay down the Special Rules and Regulations governing the corps of Meteorology civil servants, as amended by decree No.76/329 of 5 August 1976;

Mindful of decree No.94/199 of 7 October 1994 on the General Rules and Regulations of the Public Service, as amended and supplemented by decree No.2000/287 of 10 October 2000;

Mindful of decree No.2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by decree No.2018/190 of 2 March 2018;

Mindful of decree No.2012/537 of 19 November 2012 to organize the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform;

Mindful of decree No.2018/191 of 2 March 2018 to re-nuffle the Government;

Mindful of decree No.2000/696/PM of 13 September 2000 to fix the General System of Government Competitive Examinations,

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1.- 1) A training competitive examination to recruit 10 (ten) student Senior Meteorology Technicians and 15 (fifteen) student Meteorology Technicians into the National Advanced School of Engineering (ENSPM) of the University of Maroua, is hereby announced for the unique Yaounde examination centre, for the 2019/2020 academic year.

1. The said examination shall take place on 24 and 25 August 2019.

Article 2.- GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.

a- General conditions:

This examination shall be open to all Cameroonians of both sexes who meet the following conditions:

1. fulfil the general requirements for employment into the Public Service as well as the conditions laid down by the General Rules and Regulations of the Public Service.

1. be physically fit to work as a Meteorologist.

1. be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age and 31 (thirty-one) years at most, as at 1st January 2019 (Be born between 01/01/1988 and 01/01/2002).

b- Specific conditions:

• For the admission into the cycle of Senior Meteorology Technicians, be holder of a Baccalaureate Diploma in Science subjects or the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE-A/L) in at least two Science subjects excluding “Religious Knowledge”, or any other recognized equivalent diploma.

• For the admission into the cycle of Meteorology Technicians, be holder of a Baccalaureate Diploma in Science subjects or the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE-A/L) in at least two Science subjects excluding “Religious Knowledge”, or any other recognized equivalent diploma.
