Concerning the lunch of a competitive entrance examination into the third year of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FGI) of the University of Douala, and to fix the number of places available for the academic year 2017/2018.

Mindful of the Constitution; Mindful of law N° 005 of 16 April 2001 on the orientation of Higher Education; Mindful of decree N°2011/408 of 09 December 2011 to organize the Government; Mindful of Decree n° 2011/410 of 09 December 2011 to appoint members of Government; Mindful of decree N°2015/434 of 02 October 2015 to reshuffle the Government; Mindful of decree N°2012/433 of 01 October 2012 to organize the Ministry of Higher Education; Mindful of Decree N° 2015/398 of 15 September 2015 to appoint Rectors in some State Universities; Mindful Decree N° 2013/0891/PM of 12 March 2013 to appoint staff members at the Ministry of Higher Education; Mindful of Decree N° 93/026 of 19 January 1993 creating Universities; Mindful of Decree N° 93/027 of 19 January 1993 to define provisions common to Universities, modified and completed by Decree N°2005/342 of 10 September 2005; Mindful of Decree N° 93/035 of 19 January 1993 to grant Special Status to the Higher Education Staff; Mindful of Decree N° 2015/398 of 15 September 2015 to appoint the Universities Vice Chancelor and Rectors; Mindful of Order N° 17/00056/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC/SE of 25 January 2017 to organize the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into Faculties, Schools and Institutions of Cameroon State Universities for 2017-2018 academic year.
ORDERS :
Article 9: The competitive entrance examination for admission of seventy (70) students into the third year of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the University of Douala for the 2017/2018 academic year has been launched. Each department will be open to ten (10) students:
- Industrial Construction Technology;
- Hygiene and Industrial Security;
- Industrial Fishery/maritime mechanic;
- Automobile Technology;
- Telecommunication and Information Technology and Communication;
- Civil Engineering;
- Automation.
The competitive entrance examination is going to take place only in the Douala University centre and concern holders of the following certificates:
a) Scientific degrees (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) and students on awaited result may apply; b) Diplomas of engineer of works ; c) Degrees in technology; d) All equivalence diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. e) Professionals bachelors degree are not allowed
The written examination consists of a main trade paper (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Technology).
