To announce a training competitive examination for the recruitment of students into the Institute of Demographic Training and Research (IFORD) Yaounde, for the 2024 session.
# THE MINISTER OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE REFORM,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of decree No.75/780 of 18 December 1975 to lay down the Special Rules and Regulations of the corps of the Statistics civil servants ;
Mindul of decee NoOctober 1th Geeral Rules and Regulations f thePublic See as amended and supplemented by decree No. 2000/287 of 12 October 2000;
Mindful of decree No.2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by decree No.2018/190 of 2 March 2018;
Mindful of decree No.2012/537 of 19 November 2012 to organize he Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform;
Mindful of decree No.2018/191 of 2 March 2018 to reshuffle the Government;
Mindful of decree No.2000/696/PM of 13 September 2000 to fix the General System of Government Competitive Examinations;
Mindful of order No.040/PM of 19 May 2022 to lay down terms and conditions for granting age exemption to persons with disabilities during competitive examinations and recruitment into public service,
# HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1.- (1) A training competitive examination to recruit students in the first year of the Professional Master Programme in Demography into the Institute of Demographic Training and Research (IFORD) Yaounde has been announced for the 2024-2025 academic year.
(2) The said competitive examinations shall take place at the Yaoundé examination centre exclusively on 20 and 21 February 2024. (3) The number of available places for absorption into the Public Service after training shall be distributed as follows:
10 (ten) places for Option "A"; 10 (ten) places for Option "B".
Article 2.- The examination shall be open to all Cameroonians who fulfil the following conditions:
# A- OPTION A
a) Be at least 17 and at most 31 years of age as at 1st January 2024 (born between the 01/01/2007 and the 01/01/1993) ; b) However, disabled persons holder of a national disability card issued by the competent authorities, may benefit from an age-limit waiver for a maximum of 5 (five) years, over the age limit set above, in accordance with the above-mentioned Order No. 040/PM of 19 May 2022; c)Be holder of a first degree in any of the following disciplines:
Demography; • Geography; Sociology; Anthropology;
Or any equivalent certificate recognized by IFORD.

# B- OPTION B
a)Be at least 17 and at most 31 years of age as at 1st January 2024 (born between the 01/01/2007 and the 01/01/1993);

c)Be holder of a first degree in any of the following disciplines:
Economics; Statistics; Mathematics; Computer Sciences; A Diploma in Assistant Statistical Engineering; Or any equivalent certificate recognized by IFORD.
