DECREE No. 2020/126 OF 17 MARCH 2020

to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the African Development Bank (AfDB), a loan agreement for an amount of EUR 217 900 000, or approximately CFAF 142 933 030 300, for the partial financing of the Cameroon-Chad Electrical Grid Interconnection Project

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of Law No. 2019/23 of 24 December 2019: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2020 Financial Year;

Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018,

HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1: The Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development is hereby authorized, with powers of delegation, to sign with the African Development Bank (AfDB), a loan agreement for an amount of EUR 217 900 000 or approximately CFAF 142 933 030 300, for the partial financing of the Cameroon-Chad Electrical Grid Interconnection Project.

ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency, and inserted in the Official Gazette in French and English.
