Launching the Competitive Entrance Examination for admission into the first year of the College of Technology (COLTECH) of the University of Bamenda and setting the number of places offered, for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Mindful of the Constitution; Mindful of Law N°. 2023/007 of 25 July 2023 Orientating the Higher Education; Mindful of Decree n° 2011/408 of 09th December 2011 organizing the Government; Mindful of Decree n° 2011/410 of 09th December 2011 appointing members of Government; Mindful of Decree n° 2012/433 of 1 October 2012 organizing the Ministry of Higher Education; Mindful of Decree n° 2005/342 of 10 September 2005 modifying and completing certain dispositions of Decree n° 93/027 of 19 January 1993 defining common dispositions applicable to Universities; Mindful of Decree n° 93/026 of 19 January 1993 creating Universities; Mindful of Decree n° 2010/371 of 14 December 2010 creating The University of Bamenda; Mindful of Decree n° 2011/045 of 08 March 2011 organizing The University of Bamenda; Mindful of Decree n° 2015/541 of 27 November 2015 appointing the Vice Chancellor of The University of Bamenda; Mindful of Decree n° 93/032 of 19 January 1993 laying down financial regulations governing Universities; Mindful of Decree n° 99/003 of 19 January 1999 modifying some provisions of Decree n° 79/186 of 17 May 1979 fixing University fees; Mindful of Decree n° 2005/383 of 17 October 2005 laying down financial regulations governing Universities; Mindful of the correspondence n° 12/04109L/MINESUP/CAB/CT2/cb of 10 September 2012 instructing, among other things, the effective start of the College of Technology of The University of Bamenda; Mindful of Decree n° 2012/366 of 06 August 2012 appointing persons in State Universities; Mindful of Decree n° 2013/0891/PM of 12th March 2013 appointing persons in the Ministry of Higher Education Mindful of Decree n° 2023/386 of the 30 August 2023 appointing the Director of the College of Technology; Mindful of Order n° 18240028/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC of 14/02/2024 fixing the schedule of Competitive Entrance Examinations into Schools of State Universities for the 2024/2025 academic year.
On the proposal of the Vice Chancellor of The University of Bamenda.
HEREBY DECIDES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: A competitive entrance examination for the admission of students into the first year of the College of Technology of The University of Bamenda has been launched for the 2024/2025 academic year in the following programs: Agribusiness Technology; Agricultural and Environmental Engineering; Animal Production Technology; Crop Production Technology; Food Science and Technology; Forestry and Wildlife Technology; Electric Power Engineering; Renewable Electrical Engineering; Renewable Thermal Engineering; Bioenergy Engineering; Telecommunication Engineering; Computer Networks and Systems Maintenance; Data Science; and Software Engineering.
ARTICLE 2: The examination shall be organized in one sitting for Cameroonians of both sexes as well as to foreigners resident in Cameroon.
