RésuméCe décret présidentiel ratifie le Protocole facultatif à la Convention des Nations Unies relative aux droits de l'enfant, concernant la vente d'enfants, la prostitution des enfants et la pornographie mettant en scène des enfants. Il est pris en application de la loi n° 2019/17 du 24 décembre 2019 autorisant la ratification. Le décret prévoit son enregistrement et sa publication au Journal Officiel en français et en anglais.

DECREE No. 2020/002 OF 06 JAN 2020 to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution, and Child Pornography

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of Law No. 2019/17 of 24 December 2019 to authorize the President of the Republic to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution, and Child Pornography,

HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1: The Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution, and Child Pornography is hereby ratified.

ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
