DECREE No. 2024/013 OF 18 JAN 2024 to appoint Secretaries-General of Governors’ Offices

Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Decree No. 2008/376 du 12 November 2008 relating to the administrative organization of the Republic of Cameroon;
Mindful of Decree No. 2008/377 of 12 November 2008 to lay down the powers and duties of heads of administrative units as well as the organization and functioning of their services;
Mindful of Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018 to amend and supplement some provisions of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government;
# HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1: The undermentioned persons are, with effect from the date of signature of this decree, appointed Secretaries-General in Governors’ Offices as follows:
FAR-NORTH REGION
SECRETARY-GENERAL: Mr ATANGANA ZOA Evariste, Administrative Officer, previously Subdivisional Officer of BANGANGTE, in replacement of Mr DIYEM JAM Lawrence, who has been transferred to other duties.
NORTH REGION
SECRETARY-GENERAL: Mr DENSOU Joseph, Senior Administrative Officer, previously Subdivisional Officer of PITOA, in replacement of Mr AVOM DANG Jean-Bosco, who has been transferred to other duties.
# NORTH-WEST REGION
SECRETARY-GENERAL: Mr SAÏDOUNA ALI, Senior Administrative Officer, previously Subdivisional Officer of SANGMELIMA, in replacement of Mr BASSILEKIN Georges Magloire Emmanuel, who has been transferred to other duties.
# SOUTH REGION
SECRETARY-GENERAL: Mr NDONGO MBANG Auguste Alain, Senior Administrative Officer, previously Subdivisional Officer of OBALA, in replacement of Mr NGOUCHEME KUTNJEM Alexandre Legrand, who has been placed on retirement.
Article 2: The appointees shall be entitled to the various benefits provided for by the regulations in force.
Article 3: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
