REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON PEACE – WORK – FATHERLAND
DECREE No. 2024/010 OF 18 JAN 2024 to renew the term of office of the President and some members of the Constitutional Council.-
# THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Law No. 2004/004 of 21 April 2004 to lay down the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Council, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 2012/015 of 21 December 2012;
Mindful of Law No. 2004/006 of 21 April 2004 to lay down the status of the members of the Constitutional Council;
Mindful of Decree No. 2018/105 of 7 February 2018 to appoint members of the Constitutional Council,
# HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: The term of office of the undermentioned President and members of the Constitutional Council is, with effect from the date of signature of this decree, renewed for a period of 6 (six) years:
President: Mr ATANGANA Clément.
Members:
Mrs ARREY Florence Rita.
Messrs:
- BONDE Emmanuel
- ESSOMBE Emile
- Paul NCHOJI NKWI
- BASKOUDA Jean-Baptiste
- BAH OUMAROU SANDA
- LEKENE DONFACK Charles Etienne
- AHMADOU TIDJANI.
ARTICLE 2: The appointees shall be entitled to the various benefits provided for by the regulations in force.
ARTICLE 3: This decree shall be registered, published according the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French./-
