DECREE No. 2025/395 OF 11 AUGUST 2025 to appoint officials in some State universities
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
- Mindful of the Constitution;
- Mindful of Law No. 2023/007 of 25 July 2023 on Higher Education Policy in Cameroon;
- Mindful of Decree No. 93/026 of 19 January 1993 to set up Universities;
- Mindful of Decree No. 93/028 of 19 January 1993 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Ngaoundere;
- Mindful of Decree No. 93/029 of 19 January 1993 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Dschang;
- Mindful of Decree No. 93/030 of 19 January 1993 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Douala;
- Mindful of Decree No. 93/036 of 19 January 1993 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Yaounde I;
- Mindful of Decree No. 93/037 of 19 January 1993 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Yaounde II;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2008/280 of 9 August 2008 to create the University of Maroua;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2008/310 of 9 August 2008 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Maroua;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2010/371 of 14 December 2010 to create the University of Bamenda;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2011/045 of 8 March 2011 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Bamenda;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2022/003 of 5 January 2022 to set up Universities;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2022/008 of 6 January 2022 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Bertoua;
- Mindful of Decree No. 2022/010 of 6 January 2022 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Garoua,
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1: The undermentioned persons are, with effect from the date of signature of this decree, appointed to the following positions, in some State universities:
I - UNIVERSITY OF BAMENDA
HIGHER INSTITUTE OF TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS
Director: Mr NJONG Divine, Associate Professor, previously serving as Vice-Dean in charge of Research and Cooperation at the Faculty of Arts, Letters and Social Sciences, and Head of the English Modern Letters Department at the Higher Teachers Training College of the University of Bertoua, in replacement of Mr FOMBE Lawrence Fon, who has been placed on retirement.
II - UNIVERSITY OF BERTOUA
Technical Adviser to the Rector: Mr VUKENKENG Andrew WUJUNG, Professor, previously Inspector of Services No.2 in the Ministry of Higher Education, in replacement of Mr MVE BELINGA Jeannot, who has been transferred to other duties.
DEPARTMENT OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS AND COOPERATION
Director: Mr NKOULOU Yannick Serge, Senior Lecturer, previously Head of the Research and Publications Division, in replacement of Mr MOTAH Mathieu, who has been transferred to other duties.
