to order the publication in the Official Gazette of the loan Agreement for an amount of USD 30 million, or approximately CFAF 18.078 billion, concluded on 16 October 2025 between the Republic of Cameroon and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), to finance the basic education support Project in Cameroon (PAEBC)
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Ordinance No. 72/11 of 26 August 1972 relating to the publication of laws, ordinances, decrees and statutory instruments;
Mindful of Law No. 2024/013 of 23 December 2024: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2025 financial year, as amended and supplemented by Ordinance No. 2025/001 of 11 July 2025;
Mindful of Decree No. 77/4 of 6 January 1977 to regulate the publication of documents in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cameroon;
Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018;
Mindful of Decree No. 2025/454 of 10 September 2025 to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), a loan Agreement for an amount of USD 30 million, or approximately CFAF 18.078 billion, to finance the basic education support Project in Cameroon (PAEBC),
HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1: The publication in the Official Gazette of the loan Agreement for an amount of USD 30 million, or approximately CFAF 18.078 billion, concluded on 16 October 2025 between the Republic of Cameroon and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), to finance the basic education support Project in Cameroon (PAEBC), is ordered.
Article 2: This Decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
