REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON PEACE-WORK-FATHERLAND

DECREE No. 2026/025 OF 26 JAN 2026 to ratify the MURABAHA financing Agreement for an amount of EUR 102 million, or approximately CFAF 66.9 billion, concluded with the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, for the procurement of agricultural inputs and the marketing of cotton and soybeans in Cameroon

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of Law No. 2024/013 of 23 December 2024: Finance Law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2025 financial year, as amended and supplemented by Ordinance No. 2025/001 of 11 July 2025;

Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018;

Mindful of Decree No. 2025/457 of 11 September 2025 to authorize the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development to sign with the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, a MURABAHA financing Agreement for an amount of EUR 102 million, or approximately CFAF 66.9 billion, for the procurement of agricultural inputs and the marketing of cotton and soybeans in Cameroon,

HEREBY DECREES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1: The MURABAHA financing Agreement for an amount of EUR 102 million, or approximately CFAF 66.9 billion, concluded with the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, for the procurement of agricultural inputs and the marketing of cotton and soybeans in Cameroon, is ratified.

ARTICLE 2: This decree shall be registered, published according to the procedure of urgency and inserted in the Official Gazette in English and French.
