Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of Law No. 91/023 of 16 December 1991 relating to censuses and statistical surveys, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 63/10 of 19 June 1963;
Mindful of Decree No. 92/089 of 4 May 1992 to specify the duties of the Prime Minister, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 95/145 of 4 August 1995;
Mindful of Decree No. 93/407 of 7 May 1993 to lay down the terms and conditions for the implementation of Law No. 91/023 of 16 December 1991 relating to censuses and statistical surveys;
Mindful of Decree No. 2001/100 of 20 April 2001 to lay down the establishment, organization and functioning of the National Institute of Statistics;
Mindful of Decree No. 2005/309 of 1 September 2005 to reorganise the Central Bureau of Censuses and Populations Studies;
Mindful of Decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government, as amended and supplemented by Decree No. 2018/190 of 2 March 2018;
Mindful of Decree No. 2015/292 of 29 June 2015 to institute a General Agriculture and Livestock Census in Cameroon;
Mindful of Decree No. 2015/397 of 15 September 2015 to institute the Fourth General Population and Housing Census;
Mindful of Decree 2019/001 of 4 January 2019 to appoint a Prime Minister, Head of Government;
Mindful of Order No. 039/CAB/PM of 6 March 2026 setting the start and end dates for the joint enumeration operations of the Fourth General Population and Housing Census and the core module of the General Agriculture and Livestock Census;
Mindful of Order No. 074/CAB/PM of 29 May 2026 extending the end date for the joint enumeration operations of the Fourth General Population and Housing Census and the core module of the General Agriculture and Livestock Census,
HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS
Article 1: (1) An additional collection period has been set, across the national territory, for the joint operations of the 4th General Population and Housing Census and the core module of the General Agriculture and Livestock Census.
(2) The additional period referred to in paragraph 1 above shall run from 1 August 2026 to 15 September 2026.
Article 2: (1) The collection exercise aims to finalise the census operations by improving coverage of households, individuals and agricultural holdings across the whole country, in order
to ensure the completeness of the joint enumeration operations for the 4th General Population and Housing Census (RGPH-4) and the core module of the General Agriculture and Livestock Census (RGAE).
(2) Accordingly, the field teams shall carry out the following operations:
