To launch the competitive entrance examination into the First year of the Institute of Fine Arts, Foumban (IFAF) of the University of Dschang for the 2020/2021 academic year.
THE MINISTER OF STATE, MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION,
Mindful of the Constitution;
Mindful of law N° 2001/005 of April 16, 2001 to orientate the Higher Education;
Mindful of decree N° 2011/408 of December 9, 2011 to organise the government;
Mindful of decree N° 2011/410 of December 9, 2011 to form the government;
Mindful of decree N° 93/026 of January 19th, 1993 to create Universities;
Mindful of decree N° 93/027 of January 19th, 1993 modified and completed by decree N° 2005/342 of September 10th, 2005 to state common provisions of the Universities;
Mindful of decree 2005/342 of September 10th, 2005, modifying and completing certain provisions of decree N° 93/027 of January 19th, 1993 to state common provisions of the Universities;
Mindful of decree N° 93/029 of January 19th, 1993 stating the administrative and academic organization of the University of Dschang;
Mindful of decree N° 93/032 of January 19th, 1993 stipulating the financial regime applicable to the Universities;
Mindful of decree n° 2005/344 of September 10th, 2005 to appoint Rectors in the Universities;
Mindful of decree n° 2012/333 of June 29, 2012 to appoint a Vice-Chancellor and rectors in some State Universities;
Mindful of Decree n° 2012/366 of August 6, 2012 to appoint persons in State Universities;
Mindful of Decree n° 2013/0891/PM of 12 March 2013 appointing persons in the Ministry of Higher Education;
Mindful of order N° 99/056/MINESUP/DDES of November 16th, 1999 to state the modalities governing the opening of training cycles in a field of training in Cameroon State Universities;
Mindful of order N° 20/00407/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC of 26 May 2020 concerning the calendar of the Entrance Examinations into schools of Cameroonian state universities for the 2020/2021 academic year;
ORDERS:
Article 1: A competitive entrance examination is open for the recruitment of 250 students into the first year of the Institute of Fine Arts Foumban of the University of Dschang for the 2019-2020 academic year, in the following training fields and domains:
- Plastic Arts (Painting and drawing, sculpture, carving, ceramics, history of Arts and contemporary Arts): 25 places.
- Decorative Arts (Dress-Design and Style, and Textile Arts): 75 places.
- Arts, Technology and Heritage (Wood and Fibre Technology, Heritage and Museum Studies): 50 places
- Performing Arts (Dance and Choreographic Arts, Musical Arts, Cinematographic and Audio-Visual Art, Theatre Art): 25 places.
- Architecture and Engineering Art (Architecture: 75 places).
The entrance examination will take place on the 16th and 17th of September 2020 in the following Centres: Foumban, Bamenda–Bambui, Yaounde–Nkolbisson, Dschang and Douala.
